24-hour telephone service for people experiencing domestic and family violence. This service provides information, telephone counselling and referral to refuges for women and their children who are in danger.

dvconnect - Mensline 1800 600 636 (free call*):

Operating 9am – midnight, Mensline provides advice on respectful relationships and assistance to men affected by domestic and family violence, including support to change abusive behaviour.

Kids Help Line 1800 55 1800 (free call*):

Available 24-hours for counselling, support and information for young people.

Immigrant Women’s Support Service: 07 3846 3490

IWSS is a community based organisation which works with women and children of non-English speaking background who are or have been in domestic violence situations. The service also provides support to women who have experienced rape and/or sexual assault. It is a crisis and support service which provides culturally appropriate support, information, short-term counselling and referral.
